Convenient location for breaking a journey between Luxembourg and Ijmuiden. Comfortable hotel with ample parking. Good menu at the hotel's restaurant. Another recommended bar/restaurant nearby. Accepts card payments. Included continental breakfast with a wide choice of options. Pleasant and picturesque setting away from noise. Well-maintained decor with a nostalgic feel. Clean rooms and common areas. Friendly and helpful staff

The owner was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The hotel is in a quiet location, but still close to the motorway, which made it easy for us to explore the area. We loved that there were plenty of hiking and cycling routes nearby, perfect for our adventurous group. Plus, the golf course just a short distance away was a great addition for our sporty friends.
The only thing we wished for was a better nightlife scene for young party-goers. It would have been awesome if the hotel had some fun activities or a lively bar where we could hang out and meet other young people.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel close to the motorway. The hotel facilities were very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The parking was ample and transportation to nearby areas was easy. The location was quiet and picturesque, with a good restaurant nearby. The breakfast had a wide range of options and the coffee was excellent.
Don't have any issues at all.

The hotel has a homely and welcoming vibe, with friendly staff who are attentive without being overbearing. The breakfast is delicious and the rooms are clean and well-maintained, with plenty of hot water for showers. The hotel is conveniently located near a motorway, making it easy to get around.
Although the hotel is conveniently located, it may be difficult to access without a car, as public transportation options are limited.

had a fantastic walking tour in Steensel; the hotel exceeded my expectations. Wonderful staff, comfy beds, and a splendid breakfast garden. Perfect location for our road trip. Will definitely visit again.
No double beds, only singles pushed together.

Friendly staff, convenient parking near motorway, clean room with pleasant garden view, good selection of beers in cozy bar, interesting antiquities displayed.

The breakfast was fresh and plentiful, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Plus, the bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was good. The location was also convenient, just a stone's throw away from the motorway and in a quiet setting.
The decor in the room was quite outdated and not very appealing, with some of the furnishings looking like they were from another era. the double bed was actually two single beds pushed together, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably without waking up.

Explored the charming villages of the "Eight Beatitudes" route, indulged in delicious food on inviting terraces, and enjoyed the natural beauty of De Kempen. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the restaurant were all excellent.
Sadly, I couldn't find a museum showcasing the history of remote controls from 20 years ago. Such a missed opportunity!

The hotel rooms at Hotel Steensel are super cozy and comfortable. I instantly felt relaxed as soon as I walked in! The TV and telephone are handy, and the bathroom is clean and has a nice shower. It's perfect for a low-budget traveler like me!
Some rooms have a seating area, which I personally didn't find necessary. But hey, that's just my opinion!

The hotel offers a picturesque location away from any noise, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast with fresh bean-to-cup coffee and a good selection of vegetarian options.
Although the location is convenient for travelers with a car, it might be difficult to access without one. , the room decor could use a bit of a refresh.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent value for money. The room was comfortable, with good beds and proper water pressure in the shower. The location was perfect, away from any noise but still conveniently close to the motorway. The staff treated us wonderfully, they were friendly, cheerful, and very helpful. We felt genuinely welcomed during our stay.
The only small suggestion I have for improvement would be to offer a wider variety of options on the breakfast menu.

The hiking and cycling routes near the hotel were off the hook. We had so much fun exploring the beautiful nature around us and feeling the adrenaline rush as we zoomed through the trails. And dude, let me tell you about the golf course! It was epic. We challenged each other to see who could hit the farthest. Totally rad!
The only thing we wished for was a banging party scene. We were looking for a place where we could dance the night away and meet other young peeps, but the hotel didn't have a happening party vibe.
